Oppo Find5 X909 photos surface, alleged specs look pretty impressive

Back in May, we reported that Chinese handset manufacturer, Oppo, revealed the Finder Android smartphone which measured at a pretty impressive 6.65mm thin. Now it seems that the company is back with a new phone dubbed the Oppo Find5 X909. While it has not been officially announced yet, photos of the handset have surfaced along with some of its purported specs. While it will not be able to claim to be the thinnest Android smartphone like its sibling, it still measures at a purported 6.9mm thick, which we have to admit is still pretty darn impressive.

As far as the rest of the hardware specs go, they are just as impressive, assuming they are true of course. Under the hood of the Find5 X909, those interested might be able to look forward to a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, the same chipset that is used to power the quad-core Xiaomi MI-TWO. It will sport a 4.5” display with a resolution of 1280×720, a rear-facing 12MP camera, a front-facing 2MP camera, a 2,500mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB storage and will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board. Pretty impressive, huh? However since the phone has not been officially announced, these specs could be made up so we suggest taking it with a grain of salt for now. Even if it were true, chances of it launching outside of China are slim but hey, that’s what imports are for, right?
