OPPO shook up the flip phone scene last year with the Find N2 Flip, marking its foray into the foldable category beyond China and now, it’s upping its game with the Find N3 Flip, sporting a fresh design and even some OnePlus-inspired touches.

This globally launched device bundles Hasselblad camera branding upfront and even brings the iconic Alert Slider, borrowed from OPPO’s in-house OnePlus team.

The Find N3 Flip retains its 3.26-inch vertical cover display. While it’s no longer the largest in the block, the interactive “mini-apps” including WhatsApp, X (previously Twitter), Google Maps, Spotify, and Google Calendar are a nifty addition. These mini apps can be accessed on the outer screen, alongside 3D interactive pets, upgraded from 2D, and a collection of wallpapers and widgets in folded mode.

Inside, the users can find a 6.8-inch foldable AMOLED screen boasting a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. OPPO’s zero-gap hinge design also makes the crease barely noticeable. According to the brand, a durability test was able to grant a lifespan of 400,000 folds — And before I forget, this baby also offers water resistance with an IPX4 rating.

Performance and Cameras

Fueling the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor, a strong competitor against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. A 4,300mAh battery with 44W wired charging, capable of a 50% charge in roughly 23 minutes, stays consistent from the Find N2 Flip. The camera game is strong with a Hasselblad-tuned setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP telephoto sensor. Fold the phone, and the FlexForm mode adjusts the interface.
