Samsung Galaxy Note goes beyond the 10 million sales mark

Hmmm, is 10 million the new magical number that I am not aware of? Well, the Samsung Galaxy Note has just passed the 10 million mark in terms of sales globally, which is nearly similar to the number of Galaxy S3 units sold around the globe as well. This bit of news should not come across as surprising, considering how the Galaxy Note from Samsung can be considered to be the first “phablet” from Samsung which ought to gain it some mileage of sorts in order to get ahead of the competition. Originally debuting in October last year (that would make the Galaxy Note nearly a year old already) in Europe before arriving in the US this February, the Galaxy Note holds the title of being the first 5″ smartphone that proved to be commercially successful.

Do expect more attention to come Samsung’s way as they are working on a Galaxy Note 2 release that is tipped to happen this coming August 29th at IFA in Berlin, Germany. Word on the street has it that the Galaxy Note 2 will feature an even larger display, which would be good news to your tailor as he will have another job to alter that suit of yours so that its pockets can be far more accommodating.
