Android 4.0 for AT&T’s Sony Xperia Ion reportedly rolling out to some users

Sony Xperia ionIf you own the Sony Xperia Ion on AT&T’s network you’re probably a little annoyed that the owners of the international version of the phone have already received their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. Well fret not as according to reports on the XDA forums, it seems that some AT&T users have reported that the Android 4.0 ICS update for the AT&T version of the Xperia Ion has shown up in SuS, Sony’s PC companion software. The update will bump your phone’s software build up to 6.1.c.1.105 and will introduce the features that many have come to known, and possibly love, in Ice Cream Sandwich. No official word from AT&T yet so we’re not sure if this is a full rollout or maybe just a test rollout to select users. If you have received the update via SuS, let us know the comments below!
