Samsung Galaxy Note 2 from Verizon has carrier logo on its home button

I am not quite sure what you think of the above, but isn’t it rather strange to see a carrier’s branding appear on the home button of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2? After all, most smartphones and devices that are made available via a mobile carrier already has the carrier’s livery or at least, brand name plastered somewhere, and the home button will certainly take some getting used to for sure.

Right now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 from Verizon can be pre-ordered for $300 a pop, although that would mean it comes with a 2 year contract, and you can choose from black as well as white colors. This is definitely one design trend that we do not really want to see appear in smartphones and perhaps even tablets down the road, as having the brand plastered somewhere at the back and front of the handset is already enough advertisement for one’s eyes. As though you can forget who you’re subscribing to, no? As for others, they will recognize the device first before wondering which carrier you’re rocking to…
