Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update coming “soon”

Samsung has officially announced that the long awaited Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for their current flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S3, will be coming soon. It makes perfect sense after all if Samsung wants to remain on the competitive edge with their Galaxy S3, as there are still plenty of miles left in the proverbial legs of this smartphone. In fact, the South Korean consumer electronics giant alongside Google and carriers such as Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T have all been working hand in hand so that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates will be introduced to as many compatible devices as possible within the shortest time period.

Just a quick refresher – Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will endow these handsets with a faster user experience, a better widget organization, smoother animations whenever you swipe your finger, as well as a new and improved keyboard for even faster typing. Google has also thrown in anticipatory touch technology to keep company its improved voice recognition and notifications system. As at press time, the Galaxy Nexus on Sprint and Verizon, as well as the Nexus S 4G on Sprint have received their respective Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates.
