T-Mobile Germany Offers Nokia Lumia 920 Due To “Unexpectedly High Demand”

It seems that T-Mobile Germany has had its arm twisted in a strange way to offer the Nokia Lumia 920 that runs on the Windows Phone 8 platform, picking it ahead of HTC’s Windows Phone 8 range (the HTC 8X namely) eventually after admitting that they are experiencing “unexpectedly high demand” from the end user – namely, the consumer. According to the Caschys Blog, “We have received many inquiries and we so also expand our range of LTE smartphones.”

While the Nokia Lumia 920 has yet to be made available online or have its presence appear in brick and mortar stores, you can place an order for them over at T-Mobile Germany’s hotline. Well, what do you think of this situation? I sure wish that HTC’s 8X will not lose out because of the Lumia 920’s high demand in that part of the world, as Microsoft needs all the help they can get to push Windows Phone 8 deeper into mainstream user consciousness if they were to be a disruptive force in the mobile operating system market. After all, it is no fun tussling it out with RIM for third place in the larger scheme of things.
