Asus has just rolled out the VivoTab Smart tablet which is a 10.1” device that sports a 10.1- inch LED-backlit display alongside a crisp 1366 x 768 HD resolution, not to mention bring along with it the entire Windows 8 experience without breaking the bank. Basically, the IPS display technology that sees action here with the Asus VivoTab Smart will offer 178-degree wide viewing angles so that your eyes will always be greeted by clear and bright images, even when viewed from the side. Not only that, it is also thin and light, and there should be enough processing muscle located underneath the hood to keep you going, thanks to its dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 processor and an optional TranSleeve Keyboard.

Other features of the Asus VivoTab Smart include a 5-point multi-touch for fluid fingertip control with Windows 8, an -megapixel shooter at the back that does Full HD recording as well, and a 2-megapixel shooter in front.

The optional TranSleeve Keyboard comes across as a rather innovative accessory that comprises of a cover, keyboard, and stand in a single device. Not only does it help with your typing, it also protects the tablet, offering up to 9.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. We did play around with the Asus VivoTab Smart in the past, so check it out before deciding.
