Sony PlayStation Vita Receives Price Cut In Japan, Rest Of World To Follow?

PlayStation VitaPlanning to get your hands on a PlayStation Vita? If you are there might be some good news up ahead because during the PlayStation Vita stream held earlier by Sony, it was revealed that Sony’s handheld gaming console would be getting a price drop in Japan. Both models of the console, the 3G and the WiFi version, will now cost around $215. That makes the handheld console pretty affordable although the downside is that at the moment, this price drop appears to be only for the Japanese market. However some have speculated (perhaps hopefully) that the price cut will eventually make its way around the rest of the world. We wouldn’t bank on that at the moment, but if you’d like to save yourself a couple of bucks, perhaps waiting around for more news might not be such a bad idea.
