Firefox Gets A New Logo

firefoxlogoWe heard about enhancements made to Firefox 22 recently, but here is something that you might want to check out. What used to be a desktop browser is now a whole lot more than that, as it offers browsing capabilities for Android, iOS, Mac, and Linux machines, not to mention rolling out a totally new mobile operating system to boot. With so many changes appearing over the years, it is about time that the classic Firefox logo gets a visual update. While the basic concept remains the same (with us never being able to check out the face of this vivacious fox), but overall, it has received a more modern look in order to reflect Firefox’s role in the ever-changing Web of 2013 – and of course, beyond.

The updated logo was done with mobile in mind, and it will also be able to scale properly for use in retina displays, and yet looking crisp and clean on smaller displays with a lower resolution count to boot. This 2013 edition Firefox logo is the brainchild of Sean Martell.
