BlackBerry Z30 Reportedly Undergoing Carrier Testing

It’s been a while since we last heard about the upcoming BlackBerry Z30, BlackBerry’s attempts at a phablet of their own, and the good news for those who were worried about the fate of the device given BlackBerry’s recent financial woes, well you can rest assured that device is still alive and well and according to reports, it has entered carrier testing. This is according to a post on the CrackBerry forums where it has been revealed that the phone has entered the carrier testing phase, although based on the photo above, it is unclear as to which carrier it is being tested on since there is no carrier logo on the phone or on the software.

This is interesting because it means that the phone could be nearing the end of its testing phase, or at least in its final stages before it is officially announced and goes up for sale. We’re not sure how far into carrier testing the BlackBerry Z30 is, but it’s still a good sign as it means that things are progressing. In any case it has been speculated that the phone could be unveiled sometime later this year, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled so check back with us at a later date for the details.
