Refreshed iMacs With Latest Intel Processors Announced

2012_iMac_Boot_CampBack in 2012, Apple unveiled their new iMac computers which featured a newer design that made the computer even thinner than before. Intel then announced their new processors which not only featured an improved integrated graphics card, but would be more energy efficient, and we’re sure there are some of you guys who have been holding back on getting the iMacs just to wait for the new Intel processors. Well the good news is that your wait is over as Apple has since announced refreshed iMa computers that will sport Intel’s latest fourth-generation quad-core processors, 802.11ac WiFi, and faster PCIe storage options.

For those who don’t need a monstrous 27” display, the basic 21.5” model will feature a 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processor, while there are higher-end options for the 21.5” and 27” models that will sport Core i5 processors clocked as fast as 3.4GHz and come with NVIDIA GeForce 700 graphics in case you needed a little extra graphics processing power. As it stands the basic 21.5” model will be priced starting at $1,299, but expect the prices to go up with better hardware. The iMac models are now available for purchase via Apple’s website.
