Comcast recently made headlines by being one of the first major cable companies in the U.S. to do away with traditional bundles to give its customers three things they probably want the most: Internet, local TV channels and HBO. Just a few days later, Comcast is once again making headlines as their Xfinity TV Go app will be receiving an update that will allow their customers to watch TV on their mobile devices outside of their homes.

Xfinity TV Go will allow Comcast customers to access 35 live channels while on the go, which include such popular channels as ESPN and CNN. Even though you’ll be able to watch content on the go, that doesn’t necessarily mean all Xfinity TV Go users will be able to watch content over cellular networks as a source tells The Verge Verizon customers will be able to do just that, while there’s no mention of other U.S. carriers. That means you might have to rely on a Wi-Fi connection in order to watching streaming television outside of your home.

There’s no word on when exactly Xfinity TV Go will be made available, but hopefully it’ll be in time for you to enjoy all of your favorite shows while your traveling for all of the upcoming holidays.
