Xbox One DVR Clips Can Be Uploaded, Shared With SkyDrive

The Xbox One is releasing in just three days, and we’re still learning more about what we can and can’t do with the next-generation console. The latest news Microsoft is sharing regarding the Xbox One is owners of the console will be able to load and share game DVR and uploads through the company’s SkyDrive cloud storage service.

Owners of the Xbox One will be able to save their game clips directly to SkyDrive with the ability to share them with friends without any form of restrictions of limitations. Once they’re uploaded onto SkyDrive, users will then be able to share their clips on various social networks as well as video-hosting websites.

Videos that are stored on Microsoft SkyDrive will be located in a folder called “Xbox Game Clips.” Once videos have been uploaded, they will be synced across all devices that use SkyDrive, including smartphones, tablets and Windows PCs. Unfortunately, SkyDrive has limited cloud storage space, so be sure to keep an eye on just how many videos you upload to the service or at least download them onto an external hard drive on your computer so you can continue watching your glorious video game clips any time you want.
