LG L70 To Be Launched By MetroPCS

lg-l70Folks who are on the lookout for the LG L70, here is some good news for you. This particular smartphone is set to appear on MetroPCS later this April, where it happens to be a member of the new LG Series III which was unveiled earlier this year even before Mobile World Congress in Barcelona had a chance to kick off. The LG L70 happens to be an Android-powered smartphone that will cater to the low end and mid-range market, where an affordable price point delivers pretty decent hardware specifications to boot.

Why MetroPCS, and just which particular crystal ball did we gaze into? No palantirs from Middle Earth were used in the process, but it seems that the leaked image from @evleaks point to a MetroPCS branding spotted on the LG L70 itself.

In terms of hardware, the LG L70 will arrive with hardware specifications that should be more or less similar to its internationally available sibling. This would translate to a 4.5” IPS display at 800 × 480 resolution, an 8MP or 5MP camera at the back, a front-facing VGA camera, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity; GPS support and a 2,100 mAh battery. Good thing the LG L70 will have Android 4.4 KitKat right from the get go despite it being a non-flagship device. Now to wait for MetroPCS’ official announcement.
