Moto G LTE Pre-Orders Available

moto-G-review-14In the midst of the Moto E announcement yesterday, there was also official word of the Moto G LTE model arriving, giving one of the best mid-range smartphones an update that is sure to please the masses even more by throwing in LTE connectivity, as well as sporting a microSD memory card slot that was not found in its predecessor. Those who are interested in picking up the Moto G LTE will be pleased to hear that it is now available over on Motorola’s U.S. website as well as on Amazon, although you can only get your hands on the 8GB version of the Moto G LTE at the moment at $219 a pop.

If logic were to be followed, then the 16GB variant of the Moto G LTE will also be made available in due time. Motorola and Amazon have mentioned that the Moto G LTE will begin to ship this June 3rd. Do bear in mind that Amazon despite claims of the Moto G LTE sporting “universal LTE”, the handset’s specifications point to the supported LTE bands which majority apply to North America – bands 2, 4, 5, and 17.

Just a quick recap on the hardware specifications just in case you missed it – near-stock Android 4.4 KitKat, a 4.5-inch display at 720p resolution, a 5MP shooter at the back, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, and a 2,070 mAh battery.
