LG Tab Book 11 Runs On Android, Looks Like Notebook

lg-tabbookWhen it comes to Android-powered tablets, those are dime a dozen. LG, however, looks set to go a little bit higher up the hierarchy with their latest LG Tab Book 11. The LG Tab Book 11 happens to be an 11.6” Android-powered tablet that will run on an Intel Core i5 Haswell processor, and it even boasts of an integrated keyboard that allows you to make use of this particular portable computing device in the same manner as that of a notebook, except that Android is the operating system of choice instead of the usual Windows fare that you are used to all this while.

Having been unveiled in South Korea, the brand new LG Tab Book will boast of a Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display, in addition to the aforementioned Intel Core i5-4200U processor, accompanied by Intel HD 4400 graphics, 4GB RAM, and a 128GB solid state drive for your mobile storage needs. A pair of USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, a microSD memory card reader, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the mobile operating system of choice, will round off the rest of the specifications.

Just how portable is the LG Tab Book 11? Well, it measures 11.2″ x 7.6″ x 0.66″ and tips the scales at 2.3 pounds, no thanks to the non-detachable keyboard which remains behind the display whenever it is not required. Certainly the LG Tab Book 11 is not the first Tab Book to roll out, and neither does it look as though it will be the last. [Press Release]
