Sharp SH-04F Aquos Commands A Brilliant Display

sharp-aquos-sh-04fSharp is certainly no stranger when it comes to quality displays, just take a look at their achievements in the past, as well as plans to equip smartphones and tablets with a 660ppi screen down the road. Having said that, they do roll out smartphones of their own, although these are rarely seen outside of Japan.

The Sharp SH-04F Aquos is one such smartphone, where it will be a Japan exclusive that sports what it claims to be the world’s highest screen-to-size ratio. We are talking about a whopping 81% ratio here, which means most of the 5.4” Full HD resolution IGZO display would consume the largest part of the front segment, all crammed into a 140mm x 74mm x 9.3mm chassis.

Of course, Sharp continues to maintain its course with previous achievements by maintaining the IP57 certification for the Sharp SH-04F Aquos. Underneath the hood, you will find that this is far from being a slouch, as it runs on a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor alongside an Adreno 330 GPU, accompanied by 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 13.1MP camera at the back, a 2.1MP front-facing camera, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 3,300mAh battery. This handset remains a DoCoMo exclusive if you’re interested in picking one up.
