Resident Evil HD Remaster Confirmed For Multiple Platforms

resident evil remakeThere are many games that we have played back in the day that admittedly looks pretty horrible now. This is because games have improved tremendously in terms of gameplay and graphics, which tends to make classic games feel very dated. However the good news is that if you’re a huge fan of the Resident Evil game, perhaps a HD remastering could be what the doctor ordered.

According to Famitsu, it has been confirmed that Resident Evil HD Remaster is currently in development and is expected to make its way onto multiple platforms come 2015 next year in Japan. Unfortunately there was no mention as to whether it will be arriving for other parts of the world, but here’s hoping that it will for the sake of Resident Evil fans around the world.

However we should point out that the game is a HD remaster of the Gamecube version of the game, not the original PlayStation 1. Basically what this means is that given that the Gamecube was a remake of the original, what we are getting is essentially a remake of a remake, but then again if you’re a fan you should enjoy reliving it anyway.

The game has been listed as coming to the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One. Unfortunately the Nintendo Wii or the Wii U was not mentioned, so there is a good chance that they will be passed on.
