We also have word that Samsung has also started to lag behind the likes of Xiaomi in China, while it has also lost some pace in India because of Micromax. This does not, however, turn Samsung into a pariah company overnight, and they are far from being in the similar foxhole that BlackBerry is in at the moment. They remain as the dominant player in the industry, although some whip cracking needs to be done.
Apparently, some of the higher ups in Samsung have taken the bold step of returning their bonuses so that they can help the company in whatever battles that they are up against, whether right now or in the future. Leadership by example, extremely commendable, but will it help in the long run?
