LG G2 Lite Spotted On Brazilian Retailers’ Websites

lg g2 liteIf there has been one trend that we have been noticing regarding Android handsets is that OEMs tend to release multiple variants of their flagship handsets. We’ve seen it happen with LG when they released the LG G2 Mini which was the smaller and less powerful version of the LG G2, and it looks like the company is back at it again.

According to sightings on several Brazilian retailers’ websites, it seems that LG is prepping a device called the LG G2 Lite. It’s interesting that LG is still working on variants of the LG G2 considering that the LG G3 is the company’s flagship at the moment, but we guess it does make for a cheaper device.

That being said, the specs of the handset includes a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480×800. It will also feature dual SIM capabilities, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,900mAh battery.

If you’re wondering why all of this sounds familiar, it is because LG had announced a device last month called the LG L Fino which seems to share the same specs, so chances are we could be looking at a rebranded handset. In any case it seems to be priced at around $269 which hardly seems budget, but then again local taxes could be the reason for that.
