Moto G Found To Have Hidden Camera Settings

moto-G-review-14The Moto G despite its budgetary nature has proven itself to be a pretty popular smartphone. Now if you were a little disappointed by the Moto G’s cameras and were hoping that it could be better, you might be interested to learn that the phone has some hidden camera settings that one could gain access to.

This is thanks to a discovery by XDA forum member GodOfPsycho who posted a tutorial on the XDA forums in which he details how to access those hidden camera settings. We should point out that this will require the user to root their Moto G, so if you’re unfamiliar with the concept or procedure of rooting your phone, maybe you’ll want to skip this or read up a bit before proceeding.

However if you have rooted your phone or are confident in the process, by unlocking these hidden settings you will gain access to features like calibration data, UI settings, feature settings, KPI (msec), current (mAh) and so on. Now we’re sure you are wondering these settings are important.

Well XDA member juanchotazo99 has put together a series of comparison photos to highlight the difference the settings make, and we have to admit that they are pretty compelling. If you think that those are settings that you would like, then be sure to head on over to the forum for the details.
