Microsoft’s “Work & Play” Bundles Their Services For $199 A Year

worknplayIf you’re the type that relies a lot on Microsoft’s various services and subscriptions, chances are it will end up running you a pretty high bill by the end of the year. For example a subscription to Office 365 Home, Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Music Pas, and Skype Unlimited World could easily run you as much as $450 annually.

Well the good news is that Microsoft has recently announced a new subscription plan will will bundle all their services together. Dubbed the Work & Play Bundle, users will basically have access to all of the services and subscriptions mentioned above at a more affordable $199 a year. Granted it still sounds a bit expensive but like we said, a regular subscription will run you for more than double that amount.

This will essentially give users access to the full Office suite, unlimited OneDrive storage, Xbox Live subscription, music streaming minus the ads, and unlimited Skype calls, so if you think you will need all these features, then this is a bundle that could be worth your consideration. Unfortunately it looks like this is a timed offer as it will be available from the 10th of November 2014 to 4th January 2015.

Those with current subscriptions who choose to subscribe to this plan will automatically have their subscriptions extended by a year.
