Following in the footsteps of other tablets with detachable keyboards, the LG Tab Book Duo will come with a similar setup – a screen that can act as a tablet, and a keyboard attachment that lets you type out documents and emails and surf the web like you would with a laptop, which is a boon especially for those that hate typing on virtual keyboards for long periods of time.
The display of the Tab Book Duo is of the 10-inch IPS LCD variety although its resolution is unknown at this point in time. The tablet will be powered by an Intel quad-core chipset and will come with Windows 8.1 preinstalled. There will be a USB 3.0 port, a micro HDMI port, and for those concerned about battery life, LG boasts that the Tab Book Duo will run for 11 hours on a full charge.
Unfortunately as it stands the LG Tab Book Duo has only been announced in South Korea where it is selling for approximately $670. No word on availability outside of South Korea but we will be keeping our eyes peeled all the same.
