OneDrive For Windows Phone Gets Updated

onedrive-updateIt does seem as though everyone is going to migrate to the cloud in due time – and it would always be wise to store your important details there so that it will not get lost if your hard drive crashes, or your Blu-ray disc spoils. Of course, there is always the risk of having the cloud drive being hacked, but then again, is there really any 100% guarantee of safety and security in this world? We have received word that the cloud storage app OneDrive for Windows Phone has just been updated to version 4.6.

This latest version will include visual updates to the file properties page, where several bugs have also been fixed, which would be able to improve the performance of the app on general. OneDrive would then stores your files, letting you access them from your Windows Phone handset or computer – regardless of whether it is on a PC or Mac.

With OneDrive, you can then check out your personal files as you are on the move, allowing you to upload multiple photos, video and files simultaneously. Content can be shared via invitation, allowing you to write a link to copy and paste, or even to send an attachment. This app would also let you rename files, move them or delete them, and even opt to pin folders to your start screen. This is a free download from the Windows Phone Store, where it is just a 5MB download, playing nice with Windows Phone 7.5, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 platforms.
