Oppo R1C Has Been Officially Launched

oppo r1cWe have been hearing a fair bit about the Oppo R1C and that it could be officially announced this Wednesday. Well the good news is that if you’re curious as to what Oppo could be up to, you’re in luck as the Chinese handset manufacturer has officially revealed the Oppo R1C. Unfortunately it seems that the phone will be launched in China for now, but hopefully Oppo will be bringing it stateside in the near future.

In the meantime we’re sure you are wondering what kind of specs Oppo has packed under the hood of the smartphone. Well for starters, customers can look forward to a 5-inch 720p HD display. The Oppo R1C will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor and will also be accompanied by 2GB of RAM.

The phone will come with 16GB of onboard storage which can be expanded upon thanks to its microSD card slot, and will also feature a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,420mAh battery, and will run on Oppo Color OS 2.0.1 which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone will measure 6.85mm thin and will also sport a sapphire crystal back panel.

So how much will it cost? Oppo has priced it at 2,499 RMB which is roughly $403. The Oppo R1C will also be going on sale come 20th January and those interested can pre-order the handset via Oppo’s website.
