Fifty Shades of Grey Was Written On A Blackberry

el-james-used blackberryFans of the ‘Fifty Shades’ book trilogy and the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ movie adaptation would be pleased to find out that the author has indeed drafted the book on something, rather private: her blackberry. Admitted to have ‘write a lot of it on my way to work on my Blackberry.’ Author E.L. James has told ABC’s Elizabeth Vargas in a 2012 interview on how she has completed the trilogy. Also stating that ‘I used to beam it into my Mac When I’d get home, and then I’d write.”

However upon further research, the author has given no specification of the BlackBerry and Mac used to conduct her writing.

Sadly though, the movie adaption hasn’t been as faithful. In the movie adaptation Christian Grey, the Billionaire main character was seen with an iPhone instead of a BlackBerry; which was actually what he uses in the book. It has thus became a trending topic amongst many readers on Twitter.

James joins the list of esteemed authors who have previously used a BlackBerry to write a book. Juan Carlos Ortiz, Geordie Greig, Dylan Lauren, are just some of names in the list of authors that has written a book on a Blackberry.

The movie has so gross over $266 million worldwide, and at least two more installments are in plan.
