Yes sir, the largest social network in the world has come up with a new set of guidelines so as to reduce the amount of confusion. Monika Bicket, Facebook’s global head of content policy, did share in a blog post that “people from different backgrounds may have different ideas about what’s appropriate to share”.
Since the guidelines have been re-written, it will expand on what was listed down previously, albeit with additional information this time around. The site however insists that the policies themselves have remained the same, just that the previous list has seen an extension with additional information thrown into the mix. In other words, Facebook claims that the list has been given an update to provide additional “detail and clarity”. What do you think of this expansion of the definition by Facebook? One thing we do know about Facebook though, you can no longer tell people that you feel fat through an emoticon.
