All of which, I must say, is rather hypnotic to watch. Not only that, why have fun with just one eMotionButterfly, when you can unleash a fair number of those as an interconnected group? Light plastic wings are crucial to ensure that they can remain airborne, and each of these puppies will be controlled independently through a very small servo, letting the robot maneuver in the air without the need for any complicated fins or spinning blades.
Surely it lacks the finesse and precision of a quadrocopter, but you know for sure that is is a whole lot more elegant, to say the least. Apart from that, the compact hardware that controls the drone also helps make it what it is.
