Samsung’s latest flagship devices appear to be doing very well in the market. Some analysts expects that by the end of this year the company will have moved up to 70 million units of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge combined. It appears that the Gold Platinum color option is driving bulk of the demand in Europe. Samsung has revealed that one in four customers across Europe have opted to go for the gold Galaxy S6.

This has put incredible pressure on the company’s supply. Samsung says today that it is intensifying its production of Gold Platinum units just to keep up with demand.

It’s not just the customers in European markets that have a strong appetite for the gold Galaxy S6. Similar behavior has also been seen in various markets across Asia.

Samsung went so far as to say that increasing demand for the Gold Platinum color option in Europe has led to entire stocks either being sold out or reaching the point where they’re very near to being sold out.

The company adds that it has been surprised by the reaction from the market and now its adapting to ensure that ample supply is available for customers who wish to spend their money only on a gold Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge.
