Samsung may have released the Lollipop update for Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in March but carriers in the United States didn’t start rolling out said update until a couple of weeks back. Out of all the four major carriers in the country only Sprint was remaining and today even it has followed through. The Sprint Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Lollipop update is rolling out today.

AT&T was the first carrier in the U.S. to send out Lollipop for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and this happened about two weeks ago. T-Mobile followed suit a few days back and then Verizon sent out the update just yesterday.

That just left Sprint and now it too has jumped on this bandwagon. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 users on Sprint will no doubt appreciate that the carrier has finally released this update, it’s not like they didn’t have to wait for so long just to get it.

Software version T807PVPU1BOE3 being rolled out by Sprint today is going to update the tablet to Android 5.0.2. Users will get all of the features that they have come to expect from Lollipop aside from the Material Design user interface as well as performance and stability improvements.

Sprint’s support document for this update also reveals that it contains various bug fixes and also removes the Lumen toolbar from the device.
