Apple Stores Offering Slightly More Value For iPhone Trade-Ins In June

There are lots of options to get rid of your old iPhone and many of them can fetch you more money then you’re likely to get from a trade-in at an official Apple Store, but some customers are likely to be attracted by the easy trade-in process that the company’s official stores have. Just take in your phone, get it valued and if you accept the value you instantly get a store card which can be put towards the purchase of a new iPhone. Those who like to go this way will be happy to find out that Apple is offering slightly more value for older iPhones in the month of June.

Not too long ago Apple’s Reuse and Recycle program kicked off. It encourages people to bring in their old iPhones and receive a trade-in value which can then be used to offset the cost of a new iPhone.

In a bid to increase iPhone sales in June, Apple has decided to offer slightly more trade-in value for older iPhones. With the iPhone 4s customers can get up to $50 of credit instead of $35, iPhone 5 owners can get $100 instead of $85 and iPhone 5s owners can get $200 instead of $175.

For now this change in Apple Store iPhone trade-in value is limited to stores in the United States and it’s unclear if the company plans to expand it to other markets as well.
