LG G Stylo

T-Mobile has been offering its customers good and pocket-friendly options since June, by providing smartphones such as LG G Stylo and LG Leon. These two smartphones have been catering to the economical section of users and the deal just got sweeter with the arrival of Android 5.1.1 update for both the devices.

It will be an over-the-air (OTA) update and does not really bring lot of changes to the platform. The Android 5.1.1 update does brings along minor changes in the interface. The update spikes the LG G Stylo to the version H63110e and the LG Leon to version H34510e. Interestingly, T-Mobile has mentioned that “this mandatory update improves battery life (for WiFi calling) and display,” which means that both the devices would now provide better battery back up.

The update is available for download, but make sure that you have a good Wi-Fi connection to support it. Also, the battery should atlas be 50% and the available storage should be around 316.2 MB for the Leon and 428.6 MB for the Stylo. The procedure for the OTA update is pretty simple, just head to the setting > about phone > check for update. These updates will be available on the T-Mobile network starting July 9th and July 10th.
