Samsung Galaxy J2 Could Sport A Front-Facing Camera Flash

galaxy j7So we had recently heard that Samsung is working on a new budget device under its Galaxy J-series called the Galaxy J2. Just last month the company launched other variants in the form of the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J7. Both of these devices appeared to be selfie-focused, thanks to the inclusion of a front-facing camera flash.

Now the question is, will the Galaxy J2 which is the cheapest of the bunch sport a similar feature as well? Or will Samsung opt not to include it to further reduce costs? Well as it turns out it seems that Samsung will be including a front camera flash according to a report from AndroidPIT.

For the most part a lot of phones tend to not include front camera flashes, but perhaps to capitalize on the trend of taking selfies, Samsung has decided to include the flash to help out with low-light situations. However while your photos would be better lit, the previously leaked specs of the phone suggests that the front-facing camera is only a mere 2MP, so in terms of quality don’t expect too much.

Other rumored specs of the upcoming handset includes a 4.5-inch TFT LCD display with a 480×800 resolution. It will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 3475 32-bit processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. It will also have a 5MP rear-facing camera.
