Citing people familiar with Microsoft’s plans The Verge reports that the company is currently working on the final copies of Windows 10 and that it will have a RTM build ready later this week.

There does appear to be some truth in this as RTM candidate builds have already been spotted online, they’re usually a good indicator of RTM build’s imminent launch.

When Microsoft has finalized Windows 10 and has the RTM build ready it will ship the finished build to OEM partners before the public release later this month.

After the final build is out Microsoft will continue working on bug fixes and tweaks in order to ensure that the public launch goes off smoothly. Windows 10 is going to be released to the public on July 29th. To better understand how and when you’ll be able to get Windows 10 go here.
