Galaxy Note 5 Could Be Coming To Europe After All

Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-21When Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 5, they stated that there were no immediate plans to bring it to Europe, claiming that they were planning on assessing the market before making a decision. This resulted a petition being launched to bring the handset to the European market, and it looks like it might have worked.

According to a report from GSMArena, one of their readers poked around some documents and discovered that the handset has been registered on Bluetooth.org with the model number SM-N920F. The “F” at the back of the model number is usually used to mark handsets destined for Europe, so this in itself is rather telling.

They go on to cite Korean publications where the handset’s launch in Europe is also mentioned, and if the reports are any accurate, it seems that the phone will be making its way to Europe come 28th of August which is later this week. In the past some of these Korean publications have been less than accurate with their predictions, so take it with a grain of salt for now.

Samsung has yet to officially confirm the handset’s release in Europe, but even if it does not launch, we suppose there is still the Galaxy S6 Edge+ which features more or less the same specs, but with curved displays at its side instead.
