It has been a couple of weeks since Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint all released the much-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy Note 5. Those who own this handset on T-Mobile will obviously be waiting for Magenta to follow through as well. They can start looking forward to receiving the update from today as T-Mobile is now finally rolling it out for Galaxy Note 5 owners on its network.

It was confirmed by T-Mobile over the weekend that it had received approval for the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy Note 5 and that users should expect to have the update on their devices in the near future.

Multiple reports have now come in confirming that the carrier has now rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy Note 5 on its network. The update has already been available for users who don’t shy away from manually flashing the firmware on their handsets through Samsung Smart Switch.

Since this is a major update, it’s going to take some time before the update gradually makes it way to all users on T-Mobile’s network. These updates are normally released in phases so it may take a couple of days before all Galaxy Note 5 owners on T-Mobile end up on Android 7.0 Nougat.
