Elephone Vowney Is An Impressive Windows 10 Handset

vowneyThe name Elephone is no stranger to us, especially when they are working to roll out devices such as the deca-core Elephone P9000 later this October, but the focus this time around will not be an Android-powered handset, but rather, the Elephone Vowney which will run on the Windows 10 platform instead.

One must say that the Elephone Vowney certainly looks the part of a high end handset, where it boasts of all the sleek lines that a flagship device should carry, although interestingly enough, the price will be a very reasonable $299 – and this is an unlocked device, mind you. Certainly the competitive industry in China has resulted in such a natural evolution among manufacturers to deliver as much bang for your hard earned buck as possible.

The Elephone Vowney is said to come with either an Intel quad-core processor or Mediatek MT6795 chipset, depending on whether you pick up the Windows 10 model, with the option for an Android-powered one as well. Accompanying that would be 3GB RAM, a 2K (2560 x 1440) display, a 20MP camera, a 4,200mAh battery, 64GB of internal memory, and a fingerprint scanner at the back. There is no concrete date to its release just yet, but it has been slated for a Q4 roll out some time later this year.
