iPhone 6s Meets Its Grisly End In Liquid Nitrogen Test

The folks at FullMag are no stranger to destroying beautiful gadgets in the most creative and destructive ways possible. Last year with the launch of the iPhone 6, they decided that they should dip the handset into liquid nitrogen, essentially freezing the handset into a solid block, before applying a sledgehammer to it.

So with the launch of the new iPhone 6s, we guess they decided that revisiting the liquid nitrogen experiment would be a great idea, and sure enough it was. As you can see in the video above, it’s pretty much the same as they did last year. They poured liquid nitrogen into an empty tray and submerged the handset into it.

It didn’t take long for the liquid nitrogen to do its work, and interestingly enough as they pointed out in the video, the iPhone 6s seems to be a tad more durable as its screen took slightly longer than usual to crack. Once that was done, they took a sledgehammer to the phone and well, the results are to be expected.

Given how brittle the phone was after being submerged in liquid nitrogen, it shattered upon impact which you can see for yourself in the video above, so if you’re a fan of wanton destruction, do check out the video above to see it in action.
