Huawei To Extend Smartwatch Warranty To 2 Years

huawei-watch-aug-2015__12We know that earlier this year Huawei took the wraps off the Huawei Watch, but it was only recently that the company finally released the device in the US market. It was a long time coming but we have to admit that with its sleek and more traditional design that you might argue it was worth the wait.

Now with so many companies in the smartwatch game, who would you pick? If device warranty is a concern of yours, then Huawei might be worth considering. The company has recently revealed (via Android Police) that they will be extending the warranty of the Huawei Watch to 2 years.

As it stands most companies offer warranty that is only good for a year. In fact the insert for the Huawei Watch actually states 12 months, however Huawei has promised that if you were to make your purchase via Huawei’s online store directly, you will be eligible for the 2 years warranty. For those who have already purchased the device, you can hop on over to Huawei’s website and register your product within 45 days of purchase.

Once you do, you should be covered. Like we said, this extended warranty does have a couple of caveats but nothing too major or inconvenient. So if you’d like that peace of mind, Huawei’s 2 year warranty might be worth considering.
