Apple’s Find My network is great if you lose an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch and need to track it. However, ever since Apple launched the AirTags, many were quick to discovered how it can also be abused to stalk people without their permission or knowledge.

Such is the case with a man from Nashville, Tennessee, who was recently arrested after it was discovered that he had used his Apple Watch to stalk his girlfriend who was in the process of taking out an order of protection against him, according to a report from WSMV4.

The man was arrested when security was alerted that the man had shown up at the Family Safety Center, and later police had discovered an Apple Watch attached to the spokes of the girlfriend’s car. The man later confirmed that the watch belonged to him.

According to the victim, she and her boyfriend had previously both used the Life360 app to check on each other’s location, but she had turned it off when she went to the Family Safety Center. She claims that she had been bombarded by texts from him demanding her to reveal her location. She also claimed that he had made several threats in the past to kill her.
