MSI WT72

MSI is a brand that gamers are probably familiar with when it comes to GPUs. They might also be acquainted with the company’s gaming laptops, but it seems that is not all the company has in their lineup. Recently MSI took the wraps off a pair of new workstation laptops, so if you’re not necessarily looking for a gaming rig, maybe these two new laptops might be of interest to you.

The two models are the WT72 and the WS60. Both laptops will feature the same processor configurations, meaning that it will come with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ or an Intel Xeon chip if that’s what you prefer. However the differences are in its GPUs with the WT72 featuring NVIDIA M3000M, M4000M, or M5000M Quadro GPUs with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM.

MSI WS60

The WS60 on the other hand won’t sport the same Quadro GPU options, but will feature either a Quadro M1000M with 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM, or an M2000M with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM. Both laptops will also feature displays of different sizes, with the WT72 sporting a 17.3-inch Full HD display versus the WS60’s 15.3-inch Full HD display.

Both laptops will also come with Dynaudio speakers and a backlit SteelSeries keyboard built into it. If this sounds like a laptop you might be interested in, the MSI WT72 workstation will be priced starting at $2,099.99 while the WS60 will be priced starting at $1,899.99.
