Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Release Has Been Delayed

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was previously supposed to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on February 23rd, 2016 but today there’s bad news for those who have been waiting for this title. Eidos Montreal has confirmed today that the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided release has been delayed by a couple of months.

In a blog post about this latest development Eidos Montreal head David Anfossi writes that they have decided to delay the game to make sure that there is “no compromise on quality,” adding that the team is confident and proud of the game so far but feels more time is required in post-production for further tuning and refinement.

Anfossi does offer an apology for the delay and conveys gratitude for the continuing support from fans, expressing the hope that the tuning and refinement made during these extra few months will bring up the game “to meet our high standards.”

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the first title in this franchise that features a lineup of female combatants, for the first time in this franchise male and female characters will both be on the frontlines of this title that stars series protagonist Adam Jensen.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is now scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC come August 23rd, 2015.
