The VR tour will allow you to catch a glimpse of a range of lavishly decorated rooms and corridors, and these will include the East Colonnade, the East Garden Room and the White House Library, not to mention the Vermeil Room and the China Room. The entire tour lasts for a good five minutes, where you can spend that time to browse around yourself, or to hear the narrator provide an explanation of whatever is being shown.
Google’s Jump rigs were used to ensure that the entire Yuletide atmosphere in the White House can be digitally recorded, and it comprises of 16 camera modules that are placed in a circular formation. The entire Jump rig could cost up to $15,000 in total, which will also net you access to Google’s “assembler” software as well which will help stitch all the various video feeds into a single 360-degree video.
