iPhone 7 With USB-C, Multi-Touch 3D Touch, Dual Cameras In Testing

iPhone-6-review-2In 2016 it is safe to assume that we will be treated to new iPhones from Apple in the form of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus, assuming that the Cupertino company has no plans to introduce a third model. That being said, it seems that Apple may or may not have locked down the specs and features that we can expect from the device.

A report from G for Games (via 9to5Mac) has revealed that there are at least five different models that Apple is apparently testing. For starters one of the alleged models is said to feature a USB-C connector instead of a Lightning port which is customary amongst iPhone models.

There are also reports that Apple is testing out iPhones in which the displays will feature multi-touch 3D touch support, and there are also some rumored models that will come with dual-camera setups and fingerprint recognition built into the display itself. There is also claims that an iPhone with wireless charging could be in the works, although given the current state of wireless charging, it might not be an elegant solution that Apple will want to implement just yet.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but at the same time we suppose it makes sense that Apple is testing out various iPhone models. The company has been known to create many prototypes (as is usually the case with most companies), but whether or not some of these features actually makes the cut remains to be seen, but in the meantime which of these features do you think sounds the most appealing?
