Amazon Prime Memberships Increased By More Than 50%

amazon-prime-now-atlantaAre you an Amazon Prime member already? If you have answered in the negative, chances are you might want to reconsider your position, especially when in the company’s most recent financial results announcement made, it was shown that Amazon Prime’s membership level grew by more than 50% in 2015 alone, now how about that? Surely this would also mean that we might very well see more and more campaigns such as these happen in the near future.

It is also seen that Amazon Prime’s Video and Audio content happen to be more and more popular – hence the membership increase, especially in areas that are outside of the US. Basically, worldwide Prime memberships increased by 51% in 2015 as opposed to 2014. Growth over Stateside stood at 47%, and that translates to faster international growth, of course.

Amazon also mentioned that streaming hours in Q4 2015 have more than doubled – in fact, it did more than triple as well when compared to the statistics compiled more than a year back. After all, the service also went live in Germany and Japan in the same quarter, so that might have also helped in the final tally. If you haven’t yet signed up with the Amazon Prime bandwagon, just what are your reservations? [Press Release]
