Galaxy Note5 S-Pen Issue Fixed

Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-21The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is a pretty great flagship device when it was launched last year, but then again, since we do not live in a perfect world, there is bound to be some sort of imperfection that accompanied the handset. What was the Note5’s “weakness”, so to speak? It seems that the iconic S-Pen was the culprit this time around, and when it is inserted backwards in its slot (mostly by accident rather than curiosity), it led to the S-Pen being stuck backwards in the same slot. This then required Samsung to make use of special tools at the service center to remove the stuck S-Pens in a safe manner. As for those who decided to do a MacGyver and remove the S-Pen themselves, it more often than not resulted in the S-Pen detection mechanism breaking, rendering the S-Pen useless.

It looks like those who are about to pick up the Galaxy Note5 at the moment or down the road will be pleased to note that Samsung done their bit to pre-install a failsafe mechanism that enables one to extract the S-Pen safely even if it was inserted backwards, now how about that? Looks like there are still early adopter woes that one should be wary of even in this day and age, yes?
