Now we have to admit that the title and the idea of inserting the S Pen into the Galaxy Note 5 the wrong way is pretty funny and sort of unbelievable. After all who would insert it the wrong way, right? However sometimes you might be in a rush or maybe you are passing the phone to someone who’s never used the Note series before and the S Pen could go in the wrong way.

Before you think it’s as simple as removing it and putting it in the right way, think again. According to a recent report by Android Police, it seems that inserting the S Pen into the Galaxy Note 5 the wrong way could actually damage the phone. Now your device won’t break or stop working completely, but you could be damaging some features of it.

For example it could get stuck meaning you’ve basically lost any access to the S Pen or its features. You could also destroy the spring mechanism that ejects the S Pen, or in a worst case scenario, it could be jammed so far up and it actually breaks the mechanism used to detect when the S Pen has been removed from the phone.

So if you are planning on getting your hands on the Note 5, this is definitely something to take note of. In the meantime if you’d like to see how potentially damaging this is, check out the video put together by Android Police to get a better idea of what you could find yourself dealing with if you don’t heed the warnings.
