The show’s revival has been confirmed by Netflix on Twitter, and also by one of the show’s main stars Lauren Graham. Unfortunately what is unclear is how the revival will be structured. Will we be going back to the original format like back in the day? Or could the rumors be true and we can expect four 90-minute “mini movie” episodes instead?
A release date for the revival has also not been confirmed so we guess fans will just have to wait, and bask in the joy that the show has been revived. The stars that have been confirmed to return to the series include Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena.
The show’s original producers Amy Sherman-Palladino, Daniel Palladino and production company Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions will also be back. In any case like we said, it is a rather classic TV series and one that we wouldn’t mind seeing getting a modern treatment for today’s TV. So, who else is excited?
