Lumia 850 (RM-1182) Certified In China

microsoft logoThe Microsoft Lumia 850 is a phone that we have been hearing about for some time now, and if you’re wondering if the device is real or just a rumor, there is strong evidence to suggest that the phone is the real deal. This is thanks to the handset recently being certified over in China, following a certification that it received from Indonesia last month.

Unfortunately the certification only seems to prove that the RM-1182 device is real, although it is widely believed that the RM-1182 model is referring to the Lumia 850. At this point in time, the specs of the phone remain something of a mystery, but from what we have heard it sounds like it might not necessarily be a powerful handset.

According to the rumors, the phone is said to feature a 5.7-inch Full HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset under the hood. It could possibly come with 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of storage, but since this is just a rumor, do take it with a grain of salt for now. As for its official announcement, speculation has it pegged for a potential launch at MWC 2016.

The event will be kicking off next month and it is a mobile-centric event where plenty of companies will come forward with phone announcements of their own, so it is possible that Microsoft could officially announce something then.
